[VintageLambo] Italian cars and cooling problems |

Hello: I noticed that some Italian marques- Iso, Intermencia, have used Chevrolet engines as stock from the factory. I wonder if there were any cooling problems with these cars.? As many of you know, I own an Espada with a 350 engine and have not yet solved the running hot problem despite a new radiator, water pump, block flush, water restictor etc. Of course, the lambo radiator only holds 14 quarts, while a vette runs on 22 quarts. Unfortunately, Espada space restrictions does not permit the use of a larger radiator. Perhaps the Iso and Intermencia were designed to use a stock Chevrolet radiator. On a lighter note,my brake problem- right front hub running hot may be a brake hose, new one ordered, maybe a change of luck. Regards,Sheldon |
