I made no such assumption in my case, in fact, my expectations were that it would be compromised with fluid. "and cleaned the tank, lines, and replaced the one-way valve" There may be other factors on the vacuum pickup of the P300 that make it more effective, I don"t have any experience with the motor. 17"HG is good enough to keep the pedal pressure reasonble I guess.
