Hi Uno, A reply from sunny - and recently, windy - San Diego ;-) . I have tried for years to get Jim hooked up using the same (obvious) rationale as we all have used, but he is really locked in on his old ways. I guess it won"t hurt to keep bugging him though. As an aside, are you planning on attending the May factory event? And are you bringing the Miura? (You can answer off-list). Best Regards, Jack Uno Junghans wrote: Just a few quick comments from cold and snowy Denmark ;-) I have also on numereous occcasions encouraged Jim to get a computer, have also offered him to set it up and configure it for him, if I find my way going through Florida/St. Petersburg. Like Herman is saying, he would be even more productive if he had a machine himself. What he keeps on telling me is that he have friends around in Florida, that lets him get on their systems when visiting, so although he is not an experienced computer user, do I not think he suffers seriously from ‘computer phobia’ -Uno Quoting hermanlewis3rd : > Peter, > > I"ve spoken to Jim on numerous occasions regarding this very subject.Jim > doesn"t really like computers... therefore, I doubt that he"s gonna change > any time soon-what we might be able to do is get together with a few > (webmaster types) who are people from the "List" and, speak with him at the > next get together / meet and show him the tremedous benifits that he is > missing out on-additionaly, if he could see even a modest financial return > (hey, $$$ money talks & B.S. walks!)
