Car supposed to be tuned to reach 180mph. Beltoise had huge accident with car. Extract from an interview with Beltoise published in 2001: Funny story. I bought it from the singer Christophe. It was sublime but, in 1967, I had a road accident with this car....I haven t had an accident for years but when I was crazy and young, I pulverised my Miura. I was in Italy. The road was striaght. It was raining. I acquaplaned. No more car, some injuries, but nothing serious. I was already interested in road safety but after this accident I decided to act . 1988- Car with French owner. 2002- Still with French owner..
