"Collection by Vermant" is pleased to offer you this sublime Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2. The car was originally delivered in the United States on 22 January 1968. The car made the crossing to Europe a few years ago, where it ended up at a Belgian collector's collection in 2015. However, the car was only used sporadically for trips in ideal weather conditions. Before the car came into the possession of the current owner, it had been restored. The 400GT 2+2 was produced from 1966 to 1968, which means that this car is from the last year of the limited production of 224 cars.

On the outside, the car is finished in a beautiful shade of red, which accentuates the contours of the car beautifully. If we look further at the exterior, we find a beautiful set of Borrani spoke rims, which are equipped with the appropriate Borrani spinners. Besides the rims, the chrome is also still in beautiful condition with a nice sheen around it. At the rear we find the correct Ansa exhausts. When we look at the bodywork, we find the brand logos "Touring Superleggera". These symbolise two things. On the one hand the designer, namely Touring, and on the other hand the Superleggera (superlight) method of construction of the body. For some panels, aluminium was chosen instead of steel.

On the inside, we find a beautiful leather interior in the original colour Senape (Mustard). This was probably re-upholstered when the car was restored. Over the years, the interior has aged beautifully and has a nice patina look. To give the interior a nice touch, the car has a wooden steering wheel with wooden gearstick.

The car is currently not equipped with its matching numbers engine. This is due to a defect by a previous owner replaced by an identical and correct engine for this car. The original matching numbers engine has been preserved and is included in the sale. If desired, there is still the possibility for the future owner to convert the car back to the original matching numbers engine..
