Other Information: for sale on BringATrailer.com in April 2021:
This 2003 Lamborghini Murciélago is finished in Giallo Orion over a black leather interior and is powered by a 6.2-liter V12 that sends power to all four wheels via a gated six-speed manual transaxle. The car spent time in Illinois and California before being acquired by the selling dealer in Texas in 2021. Factory equipment includes a Lamborghini-branded head unit, automatic climate control, center-exit exhaust, an automatically deploying rear spoiler and rear intakes, bi-xenon headlights, power accessories, and staggered-width 18? alloy wheels. This Murciélago now shows just over 2,900 miles and is offered by the selling dealer in Texas with manufacturer’s literature, a Lamborghini-branded trickle charger, a car cover, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Murciélago was designed by Lamborghini’s Luc Donckerwolke and debuted for the 2002 model year as the replacement for the Diablo. The body features carbon-fiber body panels along with aluminum scissor-type doors, and this example is finished in Giallo Orion (0056). Equipment includes a pantograph single wiper, an automatically deploying rear spoiler and intakes, and bi-xenon headlights.
Staggered-width 18? aluminum-alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 245/35 up front and 335/30 out back. Three of the four wheels wear center caps with the Lamborghini bull while the right-rear wheel center cap features the Lamborghini shield logo. Braking is handled by black-finished calipers with Lamborghini script that are fitted over cross-drilled rotors. The power steering return hose was replaced by Lamborghini Houston in 2017.
The seats are upholstered in black with contrasting yellow stitching and are joined by a matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. The car is equipped with a Lamborghini-branded head unit along with a CD changer, a gated shifter, automatic climate control, embroidered floor mats, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks.
The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 7,600-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges monitoring coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The digital odometer shows just over 2,900 miles.
The mid-mounted 6.2-liter DOHC V12 features dry-sump lubrication and was factory rated at 571 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque when new. Service records show that a Full Service was performed in 2017 at 2,897 miles by Lamborghini Houston and included draining and cleaning the fuel tank along with a replacement battery, spark plugs, filters, and fluids.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a gated six-speed manual transaxle. The car features a center-exit exhaust, and additional underside images are presented in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature is pictured above and is included in the sale along with a Lamborghini-branded trickle charger.
The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other issues along with history in Illinois, California, and Texas..
