Red leather roof lining. This is believed to be the only Jalpa built in this colour scheme, making this a unique example of a very rare car. 410 cars were built in total, and of those just 27 were right hand drive. This car was delivered new to Australia, where it has spent its life in a warm and dry climate. Since being imported to the UK in 2001, it has been professionally stored, and has not been registed. Total milage travelled is 56,000 kilometres, about 35,000 miles. Consequently it is in extremely good overall condition. The engine has been fully blueprinted by a Lamborghini factory trained engine builder, who has also been responsible for building the engine in the multiple race-winning Diablo that has competed so successfully in Australian GT Championship rounds. A new crankshaft, machined from a solid billet, has been installed, heads have been flowed and ported and a new stainless steel exhaust has been fitted. This work has resulted in an increase in power output to 320 bhp. All drive train, suspension and brakes were also renewed at the time and the engine bay detailed to concours standard. Receipts for this work totalling in excess of £16,000 are included with the car.It has travelled about 1,000 miles since this work was completed. Also supplied with the car is a full service history.
