Up for auction once again is the 1992 Lamborghini Diablo used in the James Bond movie" Die Another Day". I first want to apologize to all interested parties and bidders from last auction. The winning bidder did not buy the car beacuse I was waiting on a clear Texas title to come and he was looking to have this car financed. The next buyer backed out for no known reason never seeing the automobile. I have a clear Texas Title on hand and have included pictures of said clear title. Enough of that. The listing is for a 1992 European Spec Lamborghini Diablo that was used in the James Bond movie "Die Another Day". I purchased this car from a man in Texas that had worked on the set of the film. He purchased The car from Eon Productions Ltd-Bond 20 Pinewood Studios Iver Heath Buckinghamshire. The purchase invoice is included in the pictures. I bought this car in a lot of three. There was one car of the three I wanted but to get a deal I had to buy all of them. I kept the car I wanted and am selling the others. The Lamborghini is in good condition. The main draw back to the car for some is that it needs a clutch(I believe). I first test drove the car in the pouring rain, had no choice, and really could not get on the car because it kept breaking the rear wheels loose. After getting car home and out of trailer we started driving the car. After about 2 weeks the clutch started slipping( I think). The clutch master cylinder reservoir was empty but saw no leaks. Filled it up and it still slipped and was hard to get into gear. I have not had this car looked at by a mechanic. The car ran beautifully and was super fast. When the car was imported into the states it was shipped in two containers. One was the entire body intact and the other was the drivetrain. They had pulled drivetrain during final shoot to stand car up on end and not damage engine. Once the car was back to Texas the young man began a restoraton on the car. He had the engine gone through(not sure to what extent but his father said engine was rebuilt) and new clutch installed before putting drivetrain back in. He wanted the car mechaniclly sound before starting cosmetic restoration and then sadly passed away. The car is not in mint condition. It was a movie car. All the systems work as far as lights, blinkers, brake lights, dome lights, horn, ect. The car looks to have had some paint work done but to what extent I do not know. All the original glass and interior is there and in super shape. As I stated this car ran perfectly and was very fast. It just needs a clutch and some TLC. Things it needs are two of the front driving lights(they are included but the lens are broken). There is a 2x2 inch sqaure in front air dam where they towed the car around during film shoots. The original Alpine amplifier has been replaced by a sony. Dont know if thye radio works because it says it needs a code. The front left bumper cover area needs grommet or something its a little loose. Over all car is awesome just needs a clutch and it is road ready. It also has brand new Perilli P Zeros on it. Again this car needs a clutch/or clutch master cylinder repair of some sort? This car is not in mint condition but is very clean and really nice. Any question fill free to ask and good luck. I have included several videos of the car including a couple of it driving. You are welcome to see the car in person but no test drives due to the clutch. It will move and drive but no test drives. Thanks and good luck on a great car and piece of James Bond film history!
