Lot 224 Fine Motor Cars & The Jaguar Legend auction by Coys, Saturday 24th June 2006. This particular car left the Sant Agata factory in 1991 and was, in fact, just the third Diablo imported into this country. The first going to Lamborghini UK, the second to Alpine to be fitted out as a promotional car with their latest in-car entertainment systems and this one bought by none other than Rod Stewart, the world famous soft rock balladeer. Finished in the original red with black leather interior and red piping, complete with the ultimate Alpine hifi unit with multi changer, sports exhaust and rear spoiler.
