Sold new as a 1970 “S” it soon returned to the factory to be upgraded to full SV specifications, like about 4 other Miuras. The conversion was not only the body as chassis, rear suspension picking points, springs, engine etc... were also revised. It later went to Japan where it seems to have been damaged, purchased there by a large english Italian cars collector in 1990 and putted outside in a yard, still on its shipping pallet. It remained there for 6 years as the car’s value “felt down” during this period. In 1996 an english journalist acquired the car and slowly restored it with some of the best qualified specialists in Europe.
