Production was limited to three years, from 1997 through 1999 in the USA. The 1999 model received multiple upgrades, front cosmetics, interior changes as well as VVT engine management with larger Brembo brakes and upgraded 18" wheels. There were only 27 1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV cars produced for the USA. This extremely rare example is 1 of only 4 ever produced in the "Rossa Vic" Pearl Candy Apple Red, 3 stage Pearl Metallic paint. It carried an additional optional upgrade cost of over $7000 when new. This color has since been dis-continued by Lamborghini after 2007. The interior is "fawn-tan" with contrasting red stitching and piping that just finishes the car's overall appearance to a show piece. It was further optioned with its OEM body colored wing, and SV only 3 piece OZ lightweight wheels. The car is completely stock as it left the factory, with the exception of an added high performance LOC exhaust system while retaining the stock tail pipes. With only 14,500 miles traveled since new, it is in as close to new condition as you can get. This car has not had any accidents and only recently had the entire front bumper re-sprayed due to road rash. A 15k service was recently performed by a Lamborghini Authorized Service Center and is in need of nothing else. It is complete with all its tools and books as it left the factory in late 1999. Tires are 90% plus thread with date code of late 2005 and are in very good condition..
