A further clarification on Islero chassis numbers: Starting with #6000, (the prototipo), every 3rd number was used. However, there was no #6162 made and there were two #6579 cars, one of which is in the Lamborghini museum in Italy, now owned by Tonino Lamborghini, Ferruccio's son. When the numbering system got to #6624, suddenly somebody got confused and miss marked this as #6625. So then every 3rd number was used based on the error until #6658, when another error occurred and it was miss marked #6659. Again every 3rd number was used until the end of the series. The first series runs from #6000 to #6378, except that #6189 was an "S". The second series then includes #6189 and from #6381 to #6674. All together 225 cars were built, 125 of the 1st series and 100 of the 2nd..
