Oil Change on a 3 litre V6 Super...

Here's the parts & tools you need...

17mm ring or open ended spanner for sump plug

10mm and 12mm sockets for sump guard removal

Ratchet and 150mm extension for sockets for 2 rear bolts on sump guard

New Filter (Alfa Romeo #? or Bosch #?)

6.1 litres of Selenia 20K Oil

1. Position the car on the ramps! This sounds crazy but the ground clearance on a 3 litre Super, means you can't do it any other way...

2. Remove the underbody sump guard...

3. Loosen the sump plug

4. Drain the oil into a suitable container

5. Remove the old filter and replace with new...

6. replace sump plug washer and put sump plug back in.

7. fill up with oil

8. start and run engine.

9. Check for leaks
